IL Gov Poll: Quinn's In Bad Shape

Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn (D) can't seem to move his support even to the 40% mark, 10 points below where an incumbent should start getting nervous. A new Rasmussen poll (June 7, 500 LV, MoE +/- 4.5%) finds him trailing Republican Bill Brady by 11 points, with just 36% supporting him. Quinn is facing a terrible budget shortfall, as well as the trial of impeached governor Rod Blagojevich, which has him back in the headlines.

Brady 47 (+2 vs. last poll, April 30)
Quinn 36 (-2)
