A USC/L.A. Times poll released over the weekend (May 19-26, 1506 RV) finds Tom Campbell trailing in the race for the Republican Senate nomination while also being the only Republican to lead California Sen. Barbara Boxer (D) in the general election. Carly Fiorina leads the GOP primary by 15 points, but trails Boxer by 6 points; Campbell leads Boxer by 7 points. The results provide even more intrigue for the final week of the primary season in the state.
