NYC Mayor Poll: Bloomberg Leads Dems

A new Quinnipiac poll finds New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg (I) with a high approval rating and double-digit leads over two possible Democratic challengers in the 2009 race for mayor (Feb. 17-22, 984 NYC RV, MoE +/- 3.1%). Rep. Anthony Weiner and NYC Comptroller William Thompson suffer from low name I.D., while Bloomberg has a 65% approval rating -- the lowest mark of his second term in office.
