Where Are the Issues?

On Obama's "Transition" web site, that is. Several bloggers, including Jim Geraghty, noticed that the issues page on the web site went missing a few days ago. So, for instance, where the site had detailed proposals for health care, foreign policy, the Iraq war, etc., now the page simply reads:
The Obama Administration has a comprehensive and detailed agenda to carry out its policies. The principal priorities of the Obama Administration include: a plan to revive the economy, to fix our health care, education, and social security systems, to define a clear path to energy independence, to end the war in Iraq responsibly and finish our mission in Afghanistan, and to work with our allies to prevent Iran from developing a nuclear weapon, among many other domestic and foreign policy objective.
The disappearance was enough of a problem for the transition team to be raised during an interview on PBS's "News Hour" with Obama's transition team co-chair Valerie Jarrett. Via CQ Politics, Jarrett explained:
“We're in the process now of doing agency review,” Jarrett told Judy Woodruff. “Now that we have a lot more information that's coming from working cooperatively with the team that's in the Bush administration right now, we're taking a look at all of the commitments that were made in the course of the campaign. We're looking at the information that we're gathering from the agencies so it will add some color and some depth to our analysis. And then, as we make decisions, we'll be putting that back up on the Web page.”
A spokesman for the transition team told the New York Times that the page was being "retooled," and will be back up shortly.
