A host of books about the just completed election are now in the works. Chuck Todd of NBC News is reportedly "crashing" on a book now for Knopf, Ryan Lizza of The New Yorker just signed a mid-six-figure deal with Penguin, and Mark Halperin of Time and New York's John Heilemann are co-authoring a book for Harper Collins that reportedly fetched them a mid-to-high six figure payday, and Dan Balz of the Washington Post is at work at an election book as well.
