From the AP:
Former Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards is returning to the public stage for a speech at Indiana University, three months after he acknowledged an affair with a woman hired to produce videos of him in 2006.
Edwards is scheduled to speak Tuesday night at the IU Auditorium about last week's election results. The school said the public lecture will include a question-and-answer session.
Edwards disappeared from the campaign trail, indeed from politics itself, since the affair-story broke several months ago. The political world essentially declared his political future dead, and there's really no reason to think otherwise, despite his return to the spotlight. Now, whether he accepts that diagnosis is another question.
