An interesting ad from the NRSC on behalf of Elizabeth Dole, who trails Kay Hagan by 2 in the latest RCP Average:

Ben Smith thinks that the underlying premise of this ad is that "Obama's going to win." Perhaps. Certainly at this point everyone's out for themselves. The NRSC of course strongly disagrees and responded to Smith:

We are not conceding an Obama victory. Rather, we are highlighting what could be if a fiscally irresponsible liberal like Kay Hagan is elected to the Senate, especially if that is coupled with a Barack Obama Presidency.
