What Are You Watching?

Nielsen breaks down the most popular cable TV programs based on partisan viewing of certain channels.
For instance, the most popular programs among Republicans are:
* South Park (Comedy Central)
* Cash Cab (Discovery)
* Damages (FX)
* Battle 360 (History)
* Doctor Who (SciFi)
Among Democrats, the leading programs are:
* The Colbert Report (Comedy Central)
* Deadliest Catch (Discovery)
* It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (FX)
* Ax Men (History)
* Tin Man (SciFi)
The most bipartisan programs are:
* The Cleaner (A&E)
* Real Housewives of Orange County (Bravo)
* The Next Food Network Star (Food Network)
* HGTV Design Star (HGTV)
* Army Wives (Life)
Hm, since I haven't watched really any of these shows (OK, fine, Real Housewives of the OC!), I can't speculate as to what the partisan appeal is, aside from the Colbert Report. For my money it doesn't get much better than "Dirty Jobs" on Discovery and "Dogfights" on History.
