Pew Research: Obama +14

The Pew Research Center's latest national poll has Obama up 14 points over McCain (Oct. 16-19, 2382 LV), a 7-point margin increase from the poll taken last week.

Obama 53 (+4 vs. last poll, Oct. 9-12)
McCain 39 (-3)

Obama leads by 6.9 points in the RCP National Average

The numbers factoring into Obama's double-digit lead: Obama leads when respondents are asked who can best handle the economy (53%-32%) and Iraq (48%-42%), and more people view him as inspiring (71%-37%); more think McCain has poor judgment (41%-29%), and one-third think he's too old to be president.
