Washington Post-ABC News: Obama +10

A new ABC News/Washington Post national poll has Obama up 10 points, a 6-point margin increase since the last poll two weeks ago.

Obama 53 (+3 vs. last poll, Sept. 27-29)
McCain 43 (-3)

Obama leads by 7.1 points in the RCP National Average

Other highlights from the poll: Just 8% feel that things in the country are generally moving in the right direction; 53% feel the economy is the single most important issue in their choice for president; Obama has higher favorable/unfavorable numbers (64%/33% for Obama; 52%/45% for McCain).
