Closing in on three weeks until Election Day and today's polling continues to reflect strength for Obama across the board. At the national level, Obama reached 50.0% in the RCP National Average today for the first time, and he holds a commanding 7.4% lead over McCain.
It's much the same at the state level, The Forum poll in North Dakota is generating some buzz - most of it skeptical - but the more significant problem for McCain is in Florida, where Obama has built a five point lead and reached the 50% mark in the latest RCP Average.
Two new polls add to the small but steady lead Obama is maintaining Ohio; two polls in Missouri have Obama in the lead and at 50% mark; and Fox News/Rasmussen polls show a dead heat in North Carolina and an Obama lead in Virginia. All of these states are now must wins for McCain, given that two more polls in Pennsylvania confirm that his chances of winning there have taken a significant hit over the past couple of weeks.

In the RCP Electoral Count, Florida moved from Toss Up to Leaning Obama today, pushing his total to a new high of 304 EVs versus 158 for McCain and 76 Toss Ups.
