Marist Nat'l Poll: Obama +5

A new Marist College national poll shows Obama leading McCain by 5 points (Sept. 28-30, 943 LV, MoE +/- 3.5%), with no change since the poll released last week. Both candidates appear to have strong support from their bases, while Obama holds a 51%-40% edge among independents.
Obama 49 (nc vs. last poll, Sept. 22-23)
McCain 44 (nc)
Obama leads by 5.7 points in the RCP National Average
