Pew Research: Obama +6

A new poll from Pew Research shows Obama taking a 6-point lead (Sept. 27-29, 1181 LV). He and McCain were tied in the last poll, taken two weeks earlier.

Obama 49 (+3 vs. last poll, Sept. 9-14)
McCain 43 (-3)

Obama leads by 4.8 points in the RCP National Average

By a 46%-33% margin, voters feel Obama can better handle the current financial crisis, and more voters (51%-33%) feel Obama can improve economic conditions than McCain. McCain is seen as more personally qualified (49%-35%) and shows good judgment in crisis (45%-42%).
