Poll: 1/3 of Americans Think US In Depression

A USA Today/Gallup poll out today shows that 33% of Americans think the country is in a depression.
The first thing to say is that a third of the country doesn't know what a depression is, both technically and realistically. (Hint: Both are much, much worse.)
The second thing to say is that in politics perceptions matter and this is bad news for a Republican who wants to take over from another Republican.
