On the Morning Shows

Today - Lawrence Summers: "These problems were quite some time in the making and they'll take some time to work through. I think there's every reason to expect that American consumers are not going to release the money they've invested in companies, there's not reason for your viewers to panic."

Good Morning America - Joe Biden: "We're going to create jobs. The clear choice, fundamental philosophy: we want to take money and put it back into middle class pockets. When 82% of the country think the country's going in the wrong direction, the idea that they're going to reelect someone who doesn't have a fundamental disagree with President Bush on the economy. [The public] believes in the change we want, they just don't know if [we] can accomplish it." (Video)
