Brave New PAC has just released this ad featuring POW Phillip Butler, who says John McCain, because he was a POW, is unfit to be president:

The term "swift boat" is used essentially to describe any negative attack ad these days. But what a lot of people forget is that the reason the original Swift Boat ads were so effective was because they were from guys who had served with John Kerry -- they had grievances, some legitimate, some not.

If any of the ads this election season qualify as a "Swift Boat" ad -- and if we can use that term without the assumed negative connotation -- then this is one of them.
