Obama Responds to Lipstick-gate

Speaking at a school in Norfolk, Va., Barack Obama called the McCain campaign's outrage over his "lipstick on a pig" comments yesterday "Swift-boat politics" and "catnip for the media."
Referring to the "outrageous ad," Obama said what the McCain campaign "has done this morning is the same game that has made people sick and tired of politics in this country."
"The McCain campaign would much rather have the story about phone and foolish diversions than about the future," he said.
"Enough. I don't care what they say about me, but I love this country too much to let [the McCain campaign] take over another election with lies and phony outrage and Swift-boat politics. Enough is enough," he said.
Meanwhile, McCain and Sarah Palin are moments away from speaking together in Fairfax, Va.
