Nat'l Polls: Close Race As DNC Begins

Two new national polls show Obama leading McCain by 3 and 4 points, while the new CNN poll -- taken after Obama announced his running mate would be Joe Biden -- has the two candidates tied.

(With Nader and Barr included, Obama's lead jumps to 6 points, 48%-42%)

Obama 48 (+3 vs. last poll, July 25-27)
McCain 45 (-4)

Obama leads by 1.6 points in the RCP National Average
