Air America Poll: Glimpse Into Liberal Minds

A non-scientific poll conducted by Air America offers a glimpse into the thinking of the liberal radio network's listeners.

Asked who they think will be Obama's running mate, the responses varied, with Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine edging out Delaware Sen. Joe Biden, 15.5%-15.1%. The other two Democrats thought to be running mate frontrunners, Indiana Sen. Evan Bayh (8.1%) and Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius (5.6%), finished 6th and 8th. Hillary Clinton finished fourth with 11.5%.

Other questions asked included whom Obama will select as his secretary of state (Biden, 54.7%) and who should be the 2012 nominee if Obama loses (Clinton, 28.6%; Gore was 2nd, Obama 5th). Asked whom they will vote for in November, Obama -- not surprisingly -- received 92%, while McCain finished 4th with 2.0% behind "Won't Vote" and Ralph Nader.
