Bush.

"Russia-Georgia war sharpens voters' doubts about Obama, McCain" (David Lightman, McClatchy) - Tom Meaden takes a drag on his cigarette and considers how a President Barack Obama or John McCain would handle the crisis in Georgia. "McCain reminds voters of Obama's 'bitter' gaffe" (S.A. Miller, Washington Times) - Sen. John McCain reminded Pennsylvanians Tuesday that presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Sen. Barack Obama said the state's small-town voters "cling to guns and religion" because they are "bitter," a gaffe that possibly contributed to Mr. Obama's loss in the state primary and might haunt his general election campaign in this battleground.

"While Aide Advised McCain, His Firm Lobbied for Georgia" (Matthew Mosk and Jeffrey H. Birnbaum, Washington Post) - Sen. John McCain's top foreign policy adviser prepped his boss for an April 17 phone call with the president of Georgia and then helped the presumptive Republican presidential nominee prepare a strong statement of support for the fledgling republic.

On the Morning Shows

CNN American Morning - Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili on Russia's continued push into Georgia after agreeing to a peace accord: "Their plan was always to take over Georgia, their plan was to kill our democracy. There is no ceasefire. They are moving around. Russians want to bring us to our knees. We will not surrender. We will never surrender. America needs to act. Everything America achieved in the Cold War is being undermined now. Any international force that can kill Russian intervention will be welcomed here."
