Remember when the McCain campaign was passing out tire gauges to the traveling press, mocking Obama's statement that the simple action of ensuring one's tires are properly inflated could increase gas mileage? In a tele-town hall last night, McCain said Obama's statement was correct, and Obama jumped on that fact today at his appearance in Elkhart, Indiana.

The campaign had previously released statements from NASCAR and AAA that backed up the presumptive Democratic nominee's statement, and today also released a video from April showing McCain asking Americans to take similar steps to keep energy prices down.

"In the coming days it's going to be interesting to watch this debate between John McCain and John McCain," Obama said today.
