Swing State Polls: McCain Gains Ground

Quinnipiac is out with new swing state numbers showing John McCain picking up ground on Obama in Colorado, Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. According to Quinnipiac, McCain gained a net 15 points on Obama in Minnesota in the last four weeks, 7 points in Colorado, and 2 points in both Michigan and Wisconsin. Wisconsin is the only state that remains outside the margin of error:

McCain 46 (+2 vs. last poll June 26)
Obama 44 (-5)
Undecided 7 (+2)
Overall, Obama leads by 1.2% in the RCP Average for Colorado.
Michigan
Obama 46 (-2 vs. last poll June 26)
McCain 42 (nc)
Undecided 9 (+1)
Obama leads by 4.6% in the RCP Average for Michigan.
Minnesota
Obama 46 (-8 vs. last poll June 26)
McCain 44 (+7)
Undecided 8 (nc)
Obama's lead in the RCP Average for Minnesota dipped to 5.3%
Wisconsin
Obama 50 (-2 vs. last poll June 26)
McCain 39 (nc)
Undecided 9 (+1)
Obama still leads by double digits (10.7%) in the RCP Average for Wisconsin.
