Six weeks ago McCain was winning Florida in nearly every poll, and it looked as if adding Charlie Crist to the ticket was not only unnecessary but might further alienate some conservatives as well. But with the release of Rasmussen's new FL survey today showing Obama with a two point lead over McCain - a 9-point net reversal from his last survey at the end of June - the two are now tied in the RCP Average for Florida at 45.8% each.

So McCain may want to dig up Charlie Crist's phone number, because it's impossible to see how he gets into the White House if he loses the Sunshine State.
