Yesterday the Obama campaign announced it would no longer be featuring the "faux presidential seal" that caused such an uproar and had pundits saying it reinforced the image of the candidate's arrogance:

This was a deep disappointment for the Obama campaign, which had to shelve plans to roll out phase two of their effort to rebrand the Office of the President in Obama's image:

Word is that the campaign also contacted the sculptor put on retainer for "Operation Mt. Rushmore" and told him to keep plans under wraps.
