Nat'l Poll: Obama Leads

A new national poll by Washington Post/ABC News (June 12-15, 1,125 A) shows Obama leading McCain by 6 points among all respondents and by 4 points among registered voters.

Obama leads by 4.0 points in the RCP National Average.

More people (33%) said the economy and jobs were the single most important issue heading into the general election, followed by the war in Iraq (19%) and health care (8%).

In a generic Dem vs. GOP House race, 52% said they would vote for a Democrat and 37% said a Republican. Bush received a 29%/68% approval/disapproval score.
