Clinton supporter Dick Holbrooke slipped up and acknowledged reality at a panel discussion yesterday in Toronto:

"[Krauthammer] is unquestionably correct that is the defining difference between John McCain and the Democratic candidate, who almost certainly will be Barack Obama, but for the purposes of this debate it doesn't matter whether it is Hillary or Barack Obama," Mr. Holbrooke said.

Reporters were quick to pounce on Holbrooke's remark:

When asked to elaborate on Ms. Clinton's status after the discussion, he went back on message. "It's not over till it's over," he said, and kept on walking.
