Obama Camp Willing To Cede Delegates

Speaking with reporters today, Obama campaign manager David Plouffe said the campaign will be willing to cede delegates to Clinton in order to bring forth a timely compromise with regard to the seating of the Florida and Michigan delegations.

"What we're interested in is a fair resolution," Plouffe said. "The fairest resolution since neither one of us campaigned in these states would've been a 50-50 distribution. We've obviously now agreed to accept some outcome here that gives her delegates. But we think it ought to be a fair resolution that does not advantage her clearly."

On the Clinton campaign's stance that Obama should not receive any pledged delegates from Michigan, Plouffe said, "I don't think anybody believes that is a fair or reasonable position. And I don't think it's been received as such."
