The Great Abercrombie & Fitch Mystery

I have to admit I found these guys and their t-shirts incredibly distracting during Obama's post-Pennsylvania speech. (Also, the guy right below them just happened to be a doppelganger for "Curb Your Enthusiasm's" Larry David, which didn't help).
Apparently, I wasn't alone. USA Today comments:
Any bets on whether the boys at The Daily Show and Colbert Report are preparing something about this?
Three very noticeable guys in Abercrombie & Fitch shirts got a lot of TV time Tuesday night as they stood behind Sen. Barack Obama while he spoke in Evansville, Ind.
Campaign spokesman Tommy Vietor says the Obama folks don't know anything about the three or why they're all decked out in gear from the casual outfitter.
The company, for one, denies that they were a part of one of the more amusing product placement diversions of the year.
Oh, and Colbert did end up doing a brief dissection:
Another big contest last night was the Pennsylvania primary. Everyone was asking: "Who would win?" "Would it be decisive?"
Well, when all was said and done, there was a clear winner. Abercrombie and Fitch.
Back to the news...
