NY Poll: Dems Lead McCain

In a new Quinnipiac poll in New York (April 14-15, 1,257 RV, MoE 2.8%), both Clinton and Obama lead McCain in general election matchups. McCain led both Dems among white voters, but trailed both by large margins among blacks.

Clinton 49 - McCain 37
Obama 47 - McCain 39

Clinton's unfavorable ratings in NY are higher than those of Obama and McCain. Her fav/unfav is 48%/45%, Obama's is 50%/31% and McCain's is 46%/36%.

Clinton leads McCain by 8.7 points and Obama leads McCain by 6.3 points in the RCP Averages for New York
