Somewhere in the bowels of the Obama campaign someone is surely dying to hatch a counteroffensive pointing out the underreported scandal of the weekend: Hillary is a whiskey elitist.

Sure, she won kudos for mixing it up with the locals and knocking back a shot over the weekend at Bronko's. But, Crown Royal? How out of touch can she be? There's a reason it's referred to as "top shelf."

Worse yet, isn't Crown Royal a Canadian whiskey? What about NAFTA? Someone get Austin Goolsbee on a conference call.

And doesn't Clinton know there's a primary coming up in Kentucky? Duh. Ever heard of the Bourbon Trail?
