Throughout the campaign, Obama has often been the benificiary of "viral" videos (the 1984 mash up, Obama girl, etc) but rarely, if ever, the victim of one. This animated cartoon, by editorial cartoonist Grey Blackwell of the Raleigh News Observer, however, hits Obama where it hurts and is one of the growing signs that Obamania may be wearing thin. Perhaps even more so because Blackwell published the cartoon on Thursday,just before Obama got caught up in the small town America controversy that he's been trying to spin his way out of for the last 48 hours.
