The AP is reporting that Senator Chris Dodd will endorse Barack Obama today in Cleveland. This will provide a huge boost to Obama in Connecticut. Hey, wait a minute....

Seriously, how much will Dodd's endorsement help Obama? Maybe a little. Maybe not at all. As always, the only thing you can say with some degree of confidence is that it certainly doesn't hurt. Not to mention that Dodd is a superdelegate that goes in Obama's column.
