SC Poll: McCain and Huckabee In A Tight Race

In a new SurveyUSA poll in South Carolina (Jan. 16, 470 GOP LV, MoE +/- 4.6%), McCain and Huckabee lead the rest of the Republican field. McCain won 43% of the independents, something that could give him the edge in SC, which has an open primary.

McCain holds a 4.4-point lead in the RCP Average for South Carolina
