SC Poll: Clinton Gains Ground, McCain Leads

New Rasmussen survey of the Democratic race in South Carolina (Jan 13, 516 LV), showing Hillary Clinton gaining back a bit of ground on Barack Obama:

Obama 38 (-4 vs. last poll Jan 9)
Clinton 33 (+3)
Edwards 17 (+2)

Overall, Obama leads by 10.7% in the RCP Average for South Carolina.

On the Repbulican side, Rasmussen shows McCain still leading, but with Huckabee dropping five points and Fred Thompson picking up four:

McCain 28 (+1 vs. last poll Jan 9)
Huckabee 19 (-5)
Romney 17 (+1)
Thompson 16 (+4)
Giuliani 5 (-1)
Paul 5 (nc)

Huckabee's lead in the RCP Average for South Carolina is now down to 3.7%.
