Thoughts on Last Night

Fred Thompson had the best night, but it seemed to me everyone had their moments. Romney gave a great answer on being an agent of change to fix a broken system, Thompson's answer on Pakistan was the best Commander in Chief moment of the GOP primary, McCain provided an eloquent defense of the surge in Iraq, Giuliani's answer about Reagan and leadership was very solid, and Huckabee's answer on the religion question was another home run with evangelicals.

By the end Republican voters were probably wishing they could combine all the best parts of each into one dream candidate, instead of having pick and choose between the Flawed Five.
