Irony With a Twist

Leading into New Hampshire some Romney supporters were complaining about the influence liberal newspapers (all of which endorsed McCain and blasted Romney) might have on the outcome of the Republican primary. Exiting New Hampshire, still other Romney supporters were discounting the role Independents played and making the case for Romney's continued viability by citing the fact that he has won more total Republican votes than McCain or Huckabee.
So what will the argument be if Romney's bid for the White House, now flat on its back and a few short breaths from expiring, is resuscitated thanks to the influence of Michigan Democrats? And what an ironic twist it would be if Hugh Hewitt's dream of seeing Mitt Romney win the Republican nomination was owed, at least in part, to Markos Moulitsas.
