Rudy's Resilience

Jonathan Kaufman has an interesting piece in today's WSJ on Rudy's resilience which includes this bit:

As his lead has narrowed in the past month, Mr. Giuliani has unleashed a blizzard of television ads in New Hampshire touting his economic record in New York and his toughness on terrorism.

So what has this ad blitz in New Hampshire gotten him? Well, therein lies the problem:

I agree with the general premise of Kaufman's article that Giuliani has been much more resilient and durable than many pundits expected when the race started. But he seems to be losing some of his buoyancy in the last couple of weeks in the state polls, which has to be concerning to the Giuliani campaign and the viability of its thread the needle strategy.
