A new Selzer & Co. poll shows Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels with a job approval rating of just 40%, while 50% disapprove of the job he's done as governor. In head-to-head general election match ups, Daniels gets edged out by two potential challengers, former Congresswoman Jill Long Thompson and Indianapolis architect Jim Schellinger:

Thompson 44 - Daniels 43
Schellinger 44 - Daniels 40

Both results fall within the poll's 4.6% margin of error. The survey was conducted from November 13-16.
