Lib Dem Leader Out

Big political news from across the pond: the Guardian is reporting that Sir Menzies Campbell, is resigning his post as leader of the Lib Dems.

The 66 year-old Campbell has been at the helm of Britain's third largest party since March 2, 2006. The latests polls show the Lib Dems languishing just over double digits, and an ICM poll released yesterday - which traditionally records Lib Dem support higher than other British polls - shows the party at its lowest mark in six years.
