A Day For Endorsements

A couple of big endorsements today: Iowa State House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy will back Delaware Senator Joe Biden, citing Biden's plan to partition Iraq. The plan has gotten so much credit and attention that, at times, other candidates have built their own plans off of it, which Biden loves.

Republican Fred Thompson won his fourth endorsement from a Senator today, picking up the support of Mississippi's Thad Cochran. That brings Thompson to twenty Congressional supporters, including big names like Reps. Dan Burton (R-IN), Thad McCotter (R-MI) and Adam Putnam (R-FL).

BLAKE ADDS: Iowa Senate President pro-tempore Jeff Danielson endorsed Chris Dodd last night. Also a firefighter, Danielson's endorsement follows the International Association of Fire Fighters' endorsement of Dodd a few weeks ago.
