Strategic Vision is out with a new poll in Iowa (August 17-19, 2007, 600 likely Republican caucus goers and 600 likely Democratic caucus goers, MoE +/- 4.5%). On the Democratic side, it remains a three way tie at the top:

Undecided 13 (-2)
Clinton's lead in the RCP Average in Iowa is now down to 0.8%
On the Republican side, the poll shows Romney surging to a two to one lead over his closest competitor, Fred Thomspon, while Mike Huckabee has moved up into a fourth place tie with McCain:

Thompson 15 (-2)
Giuliani 13 (-1)
McCain 8 (-2)

Romney leads by 12.7% in the latest RCP Average for Iowa.
