New '08 Polls; Gallup, AP/Ipsos

Gallup is out with a new poll on 2008, conducted July 12-15. For the Democrats, Obama ticked up this week while Clinton and Edwards ticked down :

Democrats
Clinton 34 (-3 vs. last poll July 6-8)
Obama 25 (+4)
Gore 16 (nc)
Edwards 9 (-4)
Richardson 4 (+2)
Undecided 6

Taking Gore out of the equation produces the following results:

Clinton 40
Obama 28
Edwards 13
Richardson 5
Undecided 8

On the Republican side there's been no movement at all in the last week:

Republicans
Giuliani 30 (nc)
Thompson 20 (nc)
McCain 16 (nc)
Romney 8 (-1)
Gingrich 7 (+1)
Undecided 10

Dropping Gingrich from the field produces nothing but maybe a whiff in Giuliani's favor:

Giuliani 33
Thompson 21
McCain 16
Romney 8
Undecided 11

Also out is a new AP/Ipsos poll, conducted July 9-11. On the Democratic side, results are as follows:

Democrats

Clinton 36 (+3 vs. last poll June 4-6)
Obama 20 (-1)
Gore 15 (-5)
Edwards 11 (-1)
Richardson 2 (-1)
Undecided 9 (+2)

On the Republican side, the gap between Giuliani and Thompson continues to close:

Republicans
Giuliani 21 (-6 vs. last poll June 4-6)
Thompson 19 (+2)
McCain 15 (-4)
Romney 11 (+1)
Undecided 15 (+5)

With the inclusion of the new Gallup, AP/Ipsos, and Rasmussen primary polls, Rudy Giuliani's leads in the RCP Average for the Republican nomination stands at 8.2%, while Hillary Clinton's lead in the RCP Average for the Democratic nomination is at 14.4%.
