Responding to both a New York Times article and a Bob Novak column, the White House today said President Bush is not considering withdrawing forces from Iraq.
In other White House news, Bush invoked executive privilege to deny Congress' request for testimony about the fired U.S. attorneys.
Via Ben Smith, the Clinton campaign today fired back at Barack Obama, whose campaign released a memo last week arguing that Hillary's support was akin to an incumbent's support, and therefore thin.
A whole bunch of stuff from Marc Ambinder today, just keep scolling. Highlights: THE yogurt maker in New Hampshire has endorsed Barack Obama and the McCain campaign calls rumors that their guy might quit the Senate, um, bovine excrement.
Chris Cillizza is reporting that the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee will begin airing ads tomorrow against four GOP senators: Norm Coleman (Minn.), Susan Collins (Maine), Mitch McConnell (Ky.) and John Sununu (N.H.).
Speaking of Coleman, potential rival Al Franken is boasting on his Web site that he outraised the first-term senator by at least $300,000 for the second-quarter.
