Fairness Doctrine Update

Yesterday WJFK in Washington DC dropped Bill O'Reilly's radio show. According to the Washington Post, it turns out DC isn't such a hot market for conservative talk radio:

With the exception of Rush Limbaugh, conservative talk-radio hosts have struggled for years to find a wide audience on the local dial. While Limbaugh's afternoon program remains popular on WMAL (630 AM), not many other conservatives' programs have.

Imagine that: the market will only bear what the market will bear in terms of ratings for radio talk show hosts. Unfortunately, the fundamental law of supply and demand appears to be a novel concept to some Democrats in Congress.
