The Weekend Wrap Up

Think you might have missed some interesting online commentary? Well, don't despair. For those of you who like reading blogs but don't have time to read them everyday, RealClearBlogs is going to look a little different on Saturdays. Not only will we link to today's best online debates, discussions and blog posts, but in our "Weekend Wrap Up," we will also link to the best debates, discussion and posts from the entire week.

In This Week's Best Debates and Discussions, we feature the debate that occurred in the conservative blogosphere considering if rightwing bloggers should embrace more online activism. We also feature the conservative bloggers reaction to the announcement of the Bush-Kennedy immigration deal.

In the Finest of the Featured section, we link to Fred Thompson's post on Pajamas Media thanking supporters for making him the six-time winner of the weekly Pajamas Media Presidential Straw Poll. In addition, we link to the results of the DailyKos straw poll showing Hillary Clinton online support growing. (Perhaps due to her new online strategy.)

And today's features include a debate between PatHMV at Stubborn Fact and Michael P.F. van der Galien discussing whether Fred Thompson is a centrist, as well as a post from Big Lizards summarizing the details of the comprised immigration reform package. The latter is particularly important because the actual bill may not be released to the public until after the Senate votes on it.
