The Des Moines Register reports:

Washington, D.C. - Republican Sen. Charles Grassley of Iowa said Wednesday it was "not senatorial" of Sen. Barack Obama to call for Iowans to lobby Grassley to end the war in Iraq.

"Let's say pretty much that it's not senatorial and if you can't be senatorial, how can you be presidential?" Grassley said in a conference call with Iowa reporters.

Though Grassley intended it to be a put down, this is a story that only helps Obama with the left wing base of the Democratic party.
