The Verdict Is In

If you haven't read about the dust up between Karl Rove, Laurie David and Sheryl Crow at the White House Correspondent's Dinner on Saturday night, here's the short version: Laurie David is a rude, conniving publicity hound.
One witness told Mary Ann Akers of the Washington Post that David "accosted" Rove, and another told her that David and Crow were "out of line."
Anne Schroeder of the Politico had her own source who characterized the incident this way:
"Laurie David was in his face, being very aggressive, (which was) really inappropriate for the setting. She was intentionally picking a fight so that she could get it written about. Crow came over, she was less aggressive, a little sheepish. Then David walked away. Then Crow left," reported our source, who claimed to have no reason to side with Rove on the controversy, but considered what the women did to be, "so wrong."
And what did Laurie David do after the incident? According to Schroeder's sources, David "immediately returned to her table and was seen blogging about the incident." Classy.
